The Kind Burger in Newport Beach, Cassidys (Catch a disease) Bar in Newport beach serves THE BEST BURGER PERIOD . The only drawback is if you want fries you have to run to micky d's accoss the street and order the fries there.

Out here in AZ, Islands make some good fucking burgers, fries are ok, but the burgers are the shit.
In the Portland area, the place for burgers is Giant Burger. Only one I know of is in Lake Oswego, but I've heard they have others. |
definitely Carl's Jr. :thumbsup
|
Come to think of it, you know what was another big letdown? Pretty much every cheesesteak I've ever had in Philly. Tried Pat's, Gino's and a couple others. Those places are nothing but tourist traps. Dry as fuck, even with the whiz. No love put into it whatsoever. Call me a retard but Philly Connection is the shit, and they have those everywhere.

I'll pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today

Many, many times people would buy their burger elsewhere but come to McD's for the fries. |

In and Out definitely ranks up there.
Father's Office in Santa Monica's probably my favorite burger, though. |
Canada
------------------ Shoeless Joe's Slider burgers (knock off of the white castle burgers) South St. Burgers (new here from the New York Fries company) Licks (closed up shop in my town, was taken over by South St.) Wendy's (Baconator these days... but my all time favourite burger there has been discontinued (the bacon mushroom melt) :( U.S. ------------------ Carl's Jr (Six dollar portabello mushroom burger or the western) + Criss cut fries = :thumbsup Jack in the Box (Bacon double cheeseburger + curly fries) In n Out burger (Double Double)... and as previously mentioned in this thread, their fries do kinda suck... you gotta get them animal style! (special sauce and caramelized onions). I know I'll prob get a lot of criticism for this but... Denny's (they have this exclusive late night burger that has eggs, hash brown, bacon etc... just add some hot sauce and it's like the best thing ever). I also ate at a couple of mom and pop joints in San Fran, but unfortunately don't remember the names of them. I used to love burger king back in the day, but I haven't eaten at one in years. For some reason they closed down all the burger king's around here. It's so hard to choose just one :error |

Trying to find a great burger has been tough. I tried giving In and Out a chance, but they just don't do it for me. I heard Tommy's is good, but I haven't made the effort to check them out. |
