I think the reason men lie is because they don't want to hurt us but still want to be have the power over us in thinking they got over on us. GOOD MEN will treat a woman right....and in doing so Woman in return will be faithful and dedicate her life to pleasing her man.

Fact is, everyone on Earth has lied at some point in their lives, but the more someone is in love with you the more honest they will be. When a person is very deeply in love they would rather die than risk losing you by being dishonest.

the very reason that most guys lie, is because they haven't found the person that is just right for them. lets face it, everyone is different, and not everyone will work out (hardly anyone does these days)... people lack good judgement and jump into relationships w/ people they hardly know and it just falls apart - which brings the cheating / lying. so instead of knowing a person for 2 weeks and THINKING you know who the person is and ya jump into a relationship, give it atleast a few months, then take it slow from there n' don't jump to any dramatic conclusions. you won't ever ...know... a person within a year's time.

There are people out there who are looking for a partner, on chatrooms, or telepersonals, or matchmakers, or even in person. They ask all sorts of questions of each other in the beginning, and I've seen people break up after two weeks simply because the other person doesn't like the same kind of music as them, or they don't like their hair color, or their eye color, or they are a little overweight, or they don't like the same foods, etc etc etc.

Fact is, all the good ones are NOT married, so please get real. There are a lot of good honest caring guys out there that are single, many of whom are thinking that women these days are all nuts. As Unseenworld said (a few posts above), women tend to gravitate like mindless lemmings to the bad boys, then they whine and whine about how <i>all men lie</i> or <i>all men are jerks</i>..... it's fucking retarded is what it is.

When you meet a good guy and decide you like him, then show him that he's special to you, make sure he knows that you are into him and only him, and he will treat you the way you say you want to be treated. It works both ways.

And if he doesn't, then he's not the right one.

The last chick I was with was about 4 months ago.
