    Winreanimator! Anyone Get This Lately?

    My laptop just got infect with this and its being a total pain in the ass... Slowing down my internet connection, trying to install shit on my laptop and not letting me open my usual spyware/virus stuff.

    Any idea how to remove it?

          Never tried to get rid of that one. Did your girlfriend get her document recovered?

              Hey, no unfortunately she didn't! She had to do the thing all over again, luckily she found a document saved to my laptop that had a decent chunk of it, but she still had to spend another 5 hours re-doing the rest

                  Try "fail safe mode with network" when You start up Windows (hammer <CTRL> key when it starts loading)...

                  Then run a full scan with both Your antivirus & either Ad-Aware or SpyBot...
                  NOTE: try running definition-updates in all scanners before using them, they can be useless if it's "fresh" bugs otherwise..
