I used to slam one before a test at the end of the day, or after pulling an all-nighter... but, lately... those little "5 hour energy" shots have been doing the trick exceptionally well - without the sugar.

It gives me some of the worst heart burn I have ever had. I thought I had heartburn before, but when I drank like 6 red bulls - I started to think I might die from the burning pains.

LOL@ drinking 6 red bulls...i guess its not that bad tho, maybe 50mg of the big C per can or something like that. People are amazed by this red bull phenomenon but break it down and you can get 2x the benefit in about 1oz of expresso from your local coffee shop and probably 1/3 the price

I used to drink Red Bulls, but lately I've been off the whole "drink for energy" hype. They don't really work for me, because I'm 6'2 230, and I usually don't feel a thing. I used to buy them for around $1.99 for the small ones, $2.49 for the medium sized ones, and $3.50 for the monstor sized red bull cans.
Personally I think proper rest and enough "down time" is sufficient enough to provide enough energy for whatever your choose to partake in, but this is the adult industry and sleep is a hard committee to come by, so I love Bawls. I think bawls is the best energy drink on the market, it doesn't have high fructose corn syrup, and uses a natural additive ( gurana ), instead of sugar and caffiene.

I usually have one every morning for breakfast. I drink the sugar-free kind. Oddly enough, they don't give me much energy, I actually enjoy the taste and I think the 8 ounce cans are great for a snack.

i used to drink one a day M-F for about a year...
then I started noticing some odd health problems - random changes in heart rhythms and pulse, and I felt like my body would go through withdrawal without one. once I quit i never noticed the heart problems again.
and it's true about the blood pressure. a few weeks back I gave blood and they were like, wow so you have high blood pressure? and I was like WTF, i've never had high blood pressure. it was about 160/90 at the time. went to the doctor's a week later and it was normal, 120/80. I realized I had drank a red bull that morning.
i used to love them but because they are quite addictive and the boost in blood pressure (even for short amounts of time) convinced me to give them up. sucks too, because they also gave me way more energy than just coffee.Comment
