    Mainstream Money - Ad-sense?

    Anyone making bank with Ad-Sense here?

    I'd love to get some of those google checks, wanna take me under your umbrella and show me the ropes for mainstream mega profits?

      Anyway, lets talk mainstream money...

      Anyone knows how hard google are on mainstream content that is dublicated, or how to get away with it? Or is that just myth?

      I went from 100 to 313,000 satoshis in 2 days! Lots of daily freerolls...

          Its not myth. Google's stance is hard on duplicate content.

          Read more about duplicate content on official Google blog, here and here. Its a must read for every webmaster, who would like to receive Google traffic.

                          sorry mate, its not about my time .. its about my techniques. I don't think I'll be willing to sell.

                          But let me tell you in general, its a dating resource site built for highest CTR (CTR is high to an unbelievable rate) and the next trick is SEO .. get it ranked high in serps, mainly Google and it will do the rest.

                              Vick, when you say high CTR - what's in it? Is it where your ads are placed? I rank high in google for many related terms, but can't seem able to get those people to click. What am I doing wrong?

                                  yes, high CTR is where your ads are placed (placement) and how they are placed (what colors, how much blended etc.).

                                  How targeted ads are being shown also matters (obviously, most relevant ads means better CTR), you must optimize your page keeping a balance between your visitors, search engine bots, adsense bot (for ad relevance) and high paying keywords. A perfect balance is what gets you maximum money for minimum traffic, in short high eCPM.

                                  About your low CTR, I cannot comment on that.

                                                      These are called PSAs (Public Service Ads) ..

                                                      From Google:
                                                      PSAs are non-profit organization ads that are served to pages when targeted ads are unavailable, or when Google is unable to gather content from the page. Publishers do not receive earnings for clicks made on PSAs.

                                                      My guess is the website you are trying to show adsense ads on is adult oriented. Review it and remove the obvious adultish keywords front content, title and tags .. sometime a combination or excessive usage of mild adult keywords like sex, penis etc can cause PSAs. Porn, fuck, pussy are some keywords which can cause PSAs easily.

                                                          also excessive use of words like suicide, death, kidnapping etc can cause PSA to display.

                                                                      have had it running about 6 weeks now, and got my google revenue up to about $4 a day

                                                                      not enough to buy my dinners yet... but its getting there.

                                                                          i used an adult wordpress theme for my blog even tho its mainstreme so maybe there is still some tags that say porn blog and stuff like that in the tags
