That has been a little idealistic thought that fluttered about in my head for a long timenow, but I always just laugh at it because as you said, it's ridiculous. If the production industry just went on a year long porn strike and said "He, you fuckers are screwing us, SO NO MORE PORN" The entire world would go crazy and be begging for new porn to come back, lol. But that's just a silly idea...
