If Clinton or Obama get in who the hell could trust either of them as leaders of the USA after what they have said about each other?

Clinton says Obama is a liar - Obama says the same about Clinton.

Why should either of them be president?

In the UK if there is a leadership race then they are very careful to slag each other off without putting the party at risk.

In the US is seems to be fuck the party vote later in the year.

Isn't it a little short sited?

You're not overly familiar with US political structure, are you? Like, slag everyone off, and say you're going to do big things. If you actually make it into office, you don't rock the boat, but you keep boasting about how your administration offered a one time $10 tax break to anyone with an income under $20,000 at the expense of a rider which now makes it illegal to grow carrots in your garden.

Not really. People have grown up for years being told that all Republicans are Santanic closet-gay devils who just want to steal the immigrant worker's blood to wipe down their new Audi's whitewalls with.
