Obama cannot win a general election anyway. To win the GE he will have to win Florida, and with his continued not wanting to seat those delegates at the convention, he is turning off voters in a state that will carry a lot of weight in November.

Or maybe you were referring to this debate?
OBAMA: My sense is that what all of us need to do over the next 16, 18 months is focus on putting pressure on Republicans to stop giving George Bush a blank check, because if we have to wait for 16, 18 months, that's going to make the situation that much worse. If we have not began a withdrawal by the time I'm sworn into office, then the next task is to call together the Joint Chief of Staff and to give them the mission, which is to begin an orderly, phased withdrawal, so that we can begin the diplomacy that Joe and Bill and others are talking about. But look, as I said, there are no good options at this point. OBAMA: This is the equivalent of George Bush drove the bus into the ditch, and there are only so many ways you can pull that bus out of the ditch. That doesn't mean you don't fire the driver, and it doesn't mean that you don't evaluate how we avoid getting in these same problems in the future. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Decis...3498294&page=3 |

John Kerry could have won without Florida had he won in Ohio. Also, I really think this whole Florida and Michigan thing is being overplayed, it's propaganda by the Clinton machine because seating those delegations would increase their delegate count and keep them in the fight. I seriously doubt that the way those states vote in November will be affected by the DNC enforcing the rules everyone agreed to over a year ago. |
I love to see Hillary bitching about all this stuff. Karma is a fucking bitch just like her. The Clinton's play so fucking dirty and now that she is so over she is bitching.
It's like a little kid who isn't winning her game and takes her ball and go home. Tell ya what Hill, go home because after 4 years of the first Bush then 8 years of Clinton and then another 8 years of Bush, it's time for someone other than these two families to run our country. |

Bush->Clinton->Bush->Clinton |
I gotta say from an outside perspective Obama has a very clever team and speech writer. He manages to say nothing much at all and everyone seems to go nuts over it. God help you guys if that kid gets in, you might be in for a very tough time seeing as nobody seems to know what the hell he stands for if anything. At least with clinton you know what you are getting and what she stands for. I have always wanted the US to vote democrats in, but if Obama is the nominee I hope to hell you guys go rep.

Also, FWIW, Obama has written most of his own speeches himself, unlike 99% of other politicians. |
I think Sausage's post illustrates it best really. It's what I've been wondering too, plus it's Clinton's exact point in her rant yesterday.
He should be telling us in speeches his points, and saying go to my website to read about hope and change. Cept that wouldnt work, lol :error |

I love when people call him a kid. He is 46 and will be 47 when he is in office. To me that is a person in the prime of their professional life. It's when most people make their best career decisions and make the most money. Let's see a 47 year old in his prime or a 72 year old that should be retired. |

His campaign is firing torpedo's into him now by showing hypocrisy and dirty tricks are well within his "acceptable" range. You can't stand up there and talk about how everyone else is a career politician, but you offer something different, and then your campaign plays the same games as everyone else and you back them up at a press conference! How does he agree that he knew the words his newsletter quotes were never said by Hillary Clinton, but then say it's still true because he "feels" it's her position anyway? WTF is that, lol! Clinton is a known entity whether you love or hate her or just dont think she'd be better. She's known. There's a certain comfort level that goes along with that. I think that was his point. |
