a few bars in the opening chords, big deal. Every blues-based song is a ripoff of a prior blues based song in the long run.

Spirit was an excellent band in their own right but having Led Zeppelin ask to borrow a bit from one of your songs must have felt pretty good.

I think he probably agrees with you, as do I, but that usually doesn't stop rock radio stations from putting it at the top of their "greatest rock song ever" countdowns. I can't recall how many times I have heard that happen. The local station around here does it every year.
