SEO Question: Have you ever seen a .US domain with a good ranking?
Hello All -
I've seen the big 3 and a few .info, but I cant recall every seeing a .US domain name with a high rank on google or yahoo. Any thoughts? |

I had 3 .us domains that dominated the top 10 on yahoo for a pretty good variety of one, two, and three word phrases around webcams and dating. Lasted for a good long time and then one day an algorithm change fucked me good. Never got em back.

I have a few that do well for certian solo girls.. I stay away from .us names now because I think it maybe problems at some point.

Don't quote me on this.. It appears most .country domains are more targeted towards a localized search result vs a global search on google.
Search for more regional/local terms associated with the U.S. or target the US in your prefs. Search for something like government jobs (within the US) will return a .us domain.
