The "War On Terror" will be just as successful as other Wars that the U.S. has waged on ideologies as if they were nation-states. Yeah, we're doing great on the War On Poverty and especially the War On Drugs.

Now the others here can look at the money that was poured into Germany and Japan after WW2 by the US to rebuild their country, economy and win the people over. If the US had spent 1% of the money it pours into "defending itself" on building schools, hospitals, roads, water plants and other basics in life the US economy would be be better off by the other 99%.

But as there is more money for the politicians in arms, fools like you who get off on the size of your gun and the need to keep you in fear of the big bad bogey man who's coming to get you. Nothing will change.

Nothing will change indeed. Things will only get worse, more and more terrorist and terrorist groups will form, and Americans will continue living in fear.

What the hell is an Islamofascist? Seems just like a new buzz word that some will use to categorize/demonize an identifiable group so I looked it up:

Sadly, this is a point that I fear many will miss in the movie Charlie Wilson's War, and that I thought was given too little attention at the end of the movie. I thought it was a great movie besides the ending..
