i have no grudge to police or whatsoever but I'd rather be alone than having a police on my side... they made me feel uncomf'table.

not so much nervous as cautious ..check seat belt .. check speed .. make sure there is no open liquor ... *yeah i know it's 8:00am officer* ... is insurance up to date .. like a check list i do every time .. not doing anything wrong usually . but fuck i just hate being hassled for no reason and if there is legitimately no reason I can go off on them ..

Most cops are assholes on power trips. What I've found out about cops is that they have NO desire to help the public what so ever OTHER than catching criminals doing violent crimes and beating them up as they do it.

That's the only thing a cop wants to do.... aggresively catch violent criminals. They don't want to answer simple questions or help you in public in any mannter other than catching a criminal.

If a cop is walking down the street...don't bother to ask him directions cause you're lost...you're wasting his precious time....he will talk down to you and treat you like shit...he will treat you as if you're a possible criminal.

Any conversation I've had with police officers have always been like that...they simply talk down to everyone as if we're all crack head criminals ready to attack them...even if u give them no reason to and are simply asking for help...

I have a good friend who's an officer. He grew up in a good family and even went to catholic high school for a few years. He went into the military after high school and now he's a cop. He was one of the nicest, most honest guys I've ever known.

Now the stories he tells me about his job simply turn my stomach and make me realize just how corrupt ALL cops are.

There is no such thing as an honest cop. They are all dishonest to a certain degree and some are worse than the criminals!

Police officers are a catch 22. We need them for a civil society...but most are no better than the criminals they are suppose to catch.

Neither. They aren't any different than seeing a farmer, someone in the military, an EMT worker, a teacher or a grocery store clerk.

I HATE it when people see a police car on the side of the road and damn slow down to UNDER the speed limit. Then I look like an idiot as I come racing up behind them.

When my son died the AF requires 2 people from the AF and two people from the local law enforcement agency to come and tell the survivors. Because I don't actually live in a city, that meant the county sheriff's office came. Not only were they amazingly helpful and kind, but they sent me a condolence card - and not just one with their names signed on it - they had each written very kind notes.

Plus one of my all time favorite people is a NOLA policeman ;)

both my sisters are COPS! So I dont' get nervous. On top of that all their friends are cops and so are their boyfriends!

I feel safer when they are around but I get really nervous when I'm driving and they're behind me. Altho, I have been guilty of flirting with them if they pull up beside me! lol

Well you're also a very cute women. Most male cops will always be nicer to women....ESCPEICALLY if they are cute...it's like your get out of jail free card....and is also another reason showing how currupt they are..... They are 100% more likely to let you off on a minor offense (speeding) than any normal guy. Hardly fair that if you're born "cute" then you'll have less hassles from the police.

I know who you're talking about. All the times I've hung out with him at shows he's been nothing but a fantastic all around good person. I'm sure my bad copy experiences probably don't relate to him.

He actually reminds me A LOT of my best friend that's a cop. Off duty my friend is a great guy, fun to be around, always laughing and cracking jokes, life of the party, all around honest good guy. But then I hear his "cop" stories and realize that the job itself jades people and will turn the most honest person into a jaded power trip asshole cop (when on duty).

Nothing personal to police officers. I know we need them and I'm sure some are great people that are really there to help us.

I also always turn down my music when I see a cop. I don't speed though cause I'm afraid of dying but I listen to loud music. I don't listen to gangsta rap though, which I think a lot of cops hate.

I blast shit like Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue and Hannah Montana and sometimes even old school stuff like New Kids On The Block etc I still get scared though and I turn it way down.

Did you guys know there is a forum for cops? I cant post the url but they even have a section where civilians can ask cop questions about anything! It's interesting.

And a lot of cops in that forum say they hate rap, they were talking about that Chamillionaire song "Riding dirty". One cop liked it though and says he plays it when he pulls up next to gangstas cause it throws them off, and he'll play it for them when they are in the backseat and he's driving them to the station :helpme

I never speed but I got tickets before for other things. I feel like I'm way too good to try and talk my way out of tickets. I'm too good for that. They don't deserve me kissing their ass or me being subservient. I just want them to give it to me so I can go off. I like it because I imagine that they think I'm going to want to talk my way out of it when the truth is that I'd rather pay for it. I'd rather pay for something any day than having to talk to anyone for an extended period of time. I would rather pay money than kiss ass. I don't kiss anyone's ass. If I did something wrong then I deserve to pay for it and I will pay for it. I will NEVER kiss ass to get out of a ticket because they are not even worthy of me kissing their ass. I don't kiss anyone's ass! I'd rather pay! Who are they to expect that I'm going to try to talk my way out if it. It's not even worth it. I have no problem paying. I don't lower myself to kissing ass.

I'm too stuck up to be nice to get out of a ticket. I really don't care. Give it to me, I can handle it. I can take it.

When Im in the car and I see a cop car behind I do. Its dumb I have nothing to hide. lol
