ok so I posted in this thread yesterday, and this morning I woke up and one side of my face is throbbing. Something behind my wisdom tooth and I think it has to go.

really, don't do it without pain relief.

with drugs, everything is alright.

The problem with a self pull is that all of your other teeth are going to move in to fill the void... So if lets say you have all of your teeth already moving the other way... this is good.. pull and shift them back... but if they are str8 or leaning that way already you will cause all of your teeth to move that way or space out and leave lots of gaps..

I still have all my wisdom teeth intact :(

A neighbor of my girlfriend pulled his own tooth once. Part of the root got left in the gum.

It got infected and his jaw swelled up to epic proportions.

Even though he went to a doc, a month later he died due to the infection. It had spread through his jaw.

I brush my teeth religiously nowadays.

thats exactly what can happen. another thing is a piece of tooth can be left inside. extensive bleeding makes it hard to see anything.

yea man, don't do. if you leave just a fragment in there, it can really fuck you up with an infection.

Well, this goes back to February.

I got it fixed, by a pro. Some Israeli dentist did it for me. I think he fucked it up though. I might need a root canal on the tooth. It's still kinda sensitive.
