It does lose flavour. They say that tea shouldn't sit for more than 2 months in an airtight, dark container to be enjoyed properly. But if it's sat for ages on the store shelf before you took it home... it could be ancient!

It doesn't ever go bad, per se. It just doesn't have flavour anymore.

Green tea a fair amount, when I'm not drinking coffee. I should start drinking something without caffeine before bed though - have trouble sleeping some nights.

AAAAHHHHHH! I was born in England and grew up having to drink a cup of tea every day before leaving the house until I was 13 years old, when I moved to the U. S. and A. I have not had a cup of tea since, and I've never had a cup of coffee. Juice and water for me, baby!
