Well we have lots of real model experience with our Giant Boob program called MakingitPay. Our models are Giant Boobed feature entertainers so they are pretty responsible, so fewer hassles than most.
No crazy scheduling issues or other model hassles that come up. However, 3D sure ain't cheaper. Real models are much cheaper, that is why you don't see much 3D motion animation yet. We are working to change that, since it is expensive but well worth it.

I can attest to that. The reason you see the same few 3d animated clips floating around the internet is that it's SO hard to do. most of the people qualified to do it are working at the big animation houses making cute animals and insects for all of those kids movies. As a 3d artist with years of production experience, I can say that most of my peers look down on 3d porn. I've been perfecting a system for churning out high quality 3d sex animation for years now, and I'm close to starting my first site. While it doesn't take long to make stills, it takes a while in the backend setup to make sure you have a system for pumping out stuff quick enough to keep up with the demand. I've spent more than few months just on the hair alone. No Poser involved though...while you can make stuff quickly with it, you can never get up to Shrek or Final Fantasy quality.Well we have lots of real model experience with our Giant Boob program called MakingitPay. We have 9 sites now and we are working on number 10. I understand your issue with Poser. However, we have 9 sites that sell. It would take 10 years to do that at the Shrek level and may never make a profit. Besides Shrek's budget was $60 Million dollars. Final Fantasy comes in at $137 Million.

I'm just a one man show, so I won't be making anything that is in scope or scale compared to Shrek, but I'm just trying reach an image quality that is at that level. I like Poser as well, and I use it for certain things, but I love the high end software for character stuff. Takes longer, but it may be nicer in the end.Comment

Most 3D animated sites in the adult space are one man shows. I think this is for two main reasons. One, this stuff takes lots of time, and time is money. So it becomes mostly a labor of love for guys like yourself with a long term goal of running a site. Two, existing adult companies are not aware of how well it converts so they are not likely to spend the money necessary to create 3D animation sites, when they can spend less money on what they know sells. We stumbled upon it, so we feel happy to be where we are. Still working to break down the walls.
