Someone told me once the lid they refer to is one of those old movie reel lids, that it was a cool thing to put your weed in back in the day. And it would make sense that an ounce spread out would fit well in that size lid.

Well, I bought and sold a lot of weed in my day, and I have never seen anyone store it in a movie reel.

and yeah I just looked it up, the film reel lid thing sounds pretty retarded... the lid has something to do with the lids from coffee cans they used to measure it out before people actually had scales. duuuuh
