I recently tried to sign up to the new verizon fiber optic service. The VERIZON techs told be to cancel when they showed up and saw what comcast gave me for $10 a month less, hehehehehe

I'm pretty sure Cox is using some sort of powerboost which really inflates the test scores. You aren't getting those speed 24/7. You get that speed for a few seconds maybe a minute then back down to normal.

In fact thier website for LV says the max tier is 10Mbps/1 Mbps and to top it off you have a 60 GB a month cap. Fuck that.

Comcast also uses powerboost. That inflates the stats. I could give a rats ass what I get for a few seconds I want to know what I get most of the time. In most Comcast areas it's 8 mbps. Some have 16 Mbps tiers.
