You know, I would have talked to you on icq or via email and taken a look at your traffic and tried to see why it isn't converting. I am rather visible on the boards, so is Damien, so is the other Sarah. Yet, instead you decided to just be a drama queen. Numbers really don't say a great deal unless you know what is behind them. Saying you are staying in your niche doesn't say much about the traffic. SE traffic can be for terms that are of no help to the site you are promoting, etc. If we shaved, I would be pissed off because I spend so many hours of my day helping people make sales.

21k uniques of my shittiest 404 chinese underage non creditcard torrentexpert mega popups CJ traffic would generate sales for me.

Once again, I'm afraid the partnership from my end will stop here. Either your program doesn't fit my needs and/or traffic, either you have a problem in both communication and content conversions. I've decided to post these stats as I was pissed off about your non-responsive attitude; every webmaster will decide by itself whether or not they'll choose to work with you... it might work for them or not, that is a thing I don't know.

One thing is certain though, you have to work harder and improve your communication skills 'cause before starting this thread, I've tried several times to get a hold on you; that's why I'm so fed up.

The traffic sent was coming only from SE's... before bitchin' why don't you read the thread? See #10. I'm pretty sure you're backing them up, see? it's easy to ASSUME things

and it's too late, I don't care about maxcash anymore, I've already took them out. On the other hand, traffic is king whether you send more or less, that's my opinion.
If you add "shitty" traffic from several (tens or hundreds) webmasters let me know the amount of traffic sent...

SE traffic isn't necessarily good or targetted. If you don't filter it correctly, if you target the wrong keywords normally used by freeloaders and not by buyers, it's as shitty as any 404 traffic.

I don't promote them, no fanboy, but assuming that a program is shaving just because you have ZERO signups is bullshit. If you do 1:200 for a year with several signups a day and suddenly go to 1:12000, it's time to ask questions, but your conversion rate seems to be pretty steady

Having an "old" site doesn't necessarily mean it's crap. Look at the Vivid and related "girl" sites. Some of them have been around like 10 years but yet they are still producing. I earn about $.19 for every unique visitor I send Vivid. Previous year (2007) wasn't to far off from that.

Yet I can send that same traffic, which is clearly premium to a program like Effex Media and make less than half of a half of a cent per unique ($0.0066 per unique to be exact).

I think every type of traffic is different and his type of traffic clearly isn't suited for the Max cash program. I don't think the age of the design of the site has nearly as much to do with it as some people tend to think. Sure somewhat but not in a major, major way like with this guys problem.

So, in your opinion, zero sign-ups is not necesarilly considered shaving? traffic-wise, obvious?

I think this is a very important tool in the wm's hands, how can you prove that a sponsor is doing it or not? if you're consistently making, let's say 1:300 and the next period 0:5000, what will be the first thought that'll go through your mind? what else would you need to find answers? Sometimes, I agree, there might be huge fluctuations but when something like this happens, who will help us?

Nothing you've posted is proof of shaving so you should be banned from the board and shitcanned from Maxcash for that alone. But they're being quite reasonable in their responses to you in spite of your newbish and utterly unreasonable public accusation here.

I've found that over the years there is almost always no point in making this type of thread at a sponsor, but especially so for long-established ones like Maxcash who have paid out millions to affiliates over the years, during which I have never seen anyone (at least no one I recognized) shouting about them cheating anyone. They've been on my list of sponsors for nearly 10 years now and although I have often only sent them a mere trickle of traffic compared to most I still made signups and always got paid like clockwork.

Best thing to do if you're throwing more than 5 or 10 k uniques of GOOD traffic at any one site in maybe a week's time and not seeing any sales is to drop it and put up links to a different site rather than making ridiculous accusations about 100% shaving etc. Either that or find a rep and ask for assistance... and don't come at them with accusations and attitude because that's often a good way to get ignored.

At the very least what you do if you must take it to the board is to post links to your site(s) and show everyone just how you're sending your traffic, where you get your traffic from, and let the more experienced webmasters have a looksee.

It's about finding and fixing the problem, not flying insults and accusations and trying to damage a company over what may very well be *your* inability to properly promote something.
