Today? Fuck that.. Throw it ALL into marketing, affiliating with existing sites & products... either with freesites, or upselling on budget membership paysites.

But I'm not talking about buying PPC traffic from the SE's here, there's more bang for the buck to get out there with knowledge and applied techniques.

Study & learn, then use it pretty much as a marketing budget exclusively.

Yeh personally I wouldn't start a paysite. I'd just make TGPs and Blogs, mainly SEO projects. With that money I'd probrably spend alot going mainstream.

This is a good question... Im half way into that bank already on my paysite. All i hear on here is "no money in porn"

if starting from scratch,would leave it in the bank.

i bet everyone will recommend i do blogs..i dont want to work for pennies lol...people say it takes money to make money...so i have the money now...just dont know what to do with it....anyone else has any advice?

You start working on, & investing, in paysite(s) now, what are You going to need later down the road..? (Well, preferably A.S.A.P., but first things first..)

That route is more of a gamble with how things look today, than going straight to what You'll need a lot of sooner or later, in any case.
Work on establishing Yourself traffic wise first instead, think SE traffic and more/less direct deals with laaarge established sites.

Unless of course, You're "already there" traffic wise - THEN I'd focus on paysites today if I was in Your boots now... but not until then, to much of a gamble.

And oh.. SEO'ing is a lot more than just blogging - blogs are just vehicles just like everything else wise to apply...
Learn as much as You can, pay verifiably established pro's where You get stuck, and build up Your own traffic those ways.

Put the 60k into something that is not tied up but brings in more interest such as ING or another online bank so you pull your 4-5% interest instead of the crap a typical bank pays you.

Then keep your regular job while you are at it and or keep doing what got you that 60k. Unless you inherited it or something else then oh well I doubt you want to knock off any more relatives but you could take out some more insurance on them

Now proceed to bust your ass in adult building up a niche specific traffic network. Keep promoting others while your doing this but stay in the niche your most interested in. Think ahead the whole entire time so that your new network you are growing is dynamic and can be changed at a whim to promote whomever or whatever you want. This may require getting a script made or purchasing one. Keep working this and growing it.

When your little network is making you at least 5k a month after costs then you can and should consider what to do with your banked money, though if you have still been working and if your network has been generating money and does not need it all dumped back into itself your bank sum should be looking a lot healthier.

Then you should figure out if you really want to own your own site and the troubles that come with it which is fine cause you at least have traffic for it already. Perhaps though you decide that you would rather keep promoting others and forgo the issues of owning your own site and look at branching out into other areas using what you have learned.

i do have my money in a online bank that gives me 4-5%...its been sitting there for like 2 years, always wanted to start my own paysite but seemed really risky...

what first made me the 60k before isnt making much $$ anymore, so i want to make this my full time job since i have all the time...ive been reading threads after threads on gfy but it seems like its mostly "would you hit it" threads now...no one puts up any business threads anymore...i guess money alone doesnt make you $ unless you have the knowledge...guess all you guys figured this out by trial and error and hard work...no way around it

Well if you have the knowledge you could put parts of the money behind the right people or ideas and still make good money. Though again it falls back on what you know. It is way to easy for many to talk a good game and suck your account dry.

There is plenty of business threads, well not always here but they are around. There are always people willing to talk and some other very wise ones out there that make their livings (well a portion of it) by helping or consulting for others.

Become an affiliate, learn the biz leave and most of the money in the bank, until you know what to do with it yourself. There is no better way to lose a bunch of money than pumping it intro something you know nothing about.
