    Who will the VP candidates be?

    Huckabee won Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee. Betcha McCain - if he wins- taps him for VP. It's a Southern thing plus McCain needs a conservative (by the standards of the party) to get the voter turnout he needs.

    Who do the Dems choose to compete in the South?

      if the dems wanted to compete in the south they would have nominated edwards as the Presidential candidate.

      The dems are conent to win the same norhtern and west coast states
      and somehow hope that Florida or Ohio falls their way. Which they rarely do. A flawed strategy which they seem reluctant to change despite deafeat after defeat.
