:mad Dell sues group of domain registrars... Parkers & Squatters beware!

http://yro.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=08/02/05/1957216

This should be an interesting case to watch.

I hope they win. The interweb is infested with lame ass parked pages splattered with irrelevant ads, diluting the SEO pool with garbage.

Thoughts?

Almost everytime I type wrong, I end up on a site with some garbage... Ads are not illegal, but annoying. Trademark infringement is the issue here, but unfortunately I think Dell will not change much.
Regarding SE, the engines should have a common blacklist register, to reduce the garbage.

More than $3 million per month? Nice.

Quote:
Google, whose AdSense advertising-placement program was used to monetize the domains, was ordered to hold in a special account the first US$1 million collected on behalf of the defendants each month. The second $1 million that accrues in the account every month will be given to the defendants. If more than $2 million accrues in one month, the money is split between the defendants and the Google account.
