                  Was the German Navy if I remember correctly and a bunch of guys died.. Think it was 319 killed the Capt was of course court marshalled.

                                  Actually I was wrong, I saw this video posted on another forum with a New York Times article posted with it about two German Navy ship colliding. I looked up the topic so I could post the article. Seems the posted article was meant to "compare" this accident with another. No deaths were reported on this one.

                                                                  You can see a German flag in the video at 00.12.00 sec when the ship cuts across the first boats wake.
                                                                  You also can make out a hull number P6125 on the second ship, the one being rammed. at 00.48.00 secs.
                                                                  and at 01.03.00 you see another shot of a German flag.
                                                                  Important to remember is the flags ate being flown from the stacks in the middle of the ship.
