Isn't it comforting to know that the President is very likely getting advice from people who think like Falwell? Didn't Jerry-baby also say that 9/11 was "revenge from God" for allowing homosexuality?

I think falwell's views are extreme but you've got to give him credit. He is a real christian. Not like these part timers who "sin" all the time, have never read the whole bible, don't go to church, don't follow the commandments but still call themselves christians. I don't particularly care for him but i respect him for not being a hypocrite like most so called christians. I'm an atheist btw.

I think "credit" is due when someone's beliefs are intrinsically good. You're giving points for style.
