Ive heard TONS of people nail it, and they were not even people with record deals and concert tours. You come to Nashville any night of the week and I could go down town and pull out 20 people within an hour that could nail it. Shit I sang the national anthem at a half time show in high school when I was 17 and didnt screw up.
They wear in ear monitors at any show with lots of people. Echo isnt a problem. If pressure is a problem they shouldnt be on the stage at the super bowl halftime show.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say this. Was the song great....of course. Pro Tools can make ANYONE sound great. Not taking anything away from her at all, she's a great singer. Her lip syncing could have used some work for sure.
Do you guys remember when Whitney Houston sang it for the Superbowl? Now was prerecorded too I'm sure but, no Pro Tools around then yet. She may be a hot mess now, but she sure could sing back then.
