Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

poker affiliates

yo, anyone can share some tips about poker affiliate programs ?
and what works best.

Would you chose PPS or Revshare ? I've seen PPS goes from $75 and up with revshare starting from 20%.
This payment model is much like webcams however with webcams its harder
to catch whales if you're just starting. What about poker ?
What affiliate programs do you recommend ? And what are your experiences with payments/shaving.

Thanks.

I think poker is a very tough market to enter. There is massive competition for search engine traffic. Your porn traffic will convert like shit on poker too, thus how do you want to get some decent traffic?

Very hard to get some nice traffic without something unique. I agree, very tough market. I made a few sites for a business partner of mine who's a sports handicapper. Traffic is slow and low but golden. But, you're gonna need some dough to start something nice enough to be something.

I like competition, and the fact that the market is tough means theres a shitload of cash to be made.
I'm not planning to send porn traffic but build SE traffic for it.

it does not work good with porn...

try build up SE traffic, promote most of the sponsors. The only one I've used is partypokers program. No shaving and no problems with payouts.

A pay per post forum is a thought I had some years ago. Not seen it yet on any poker board....

I thought that guys looking at porn would be similar demographic to guys gambling, until I chatted to a webmaster who tried it out on his high traffic site. Did not work and a waste of space. Live and learn.

Well good luck with it. I tried it 2 1/2 years ago and even then competition was fierce. Everybody has basically the same bonus codes on their websites, offering the same rake back. Moreover I did hardly find any half decent poker domain left.
