Anyone uninstalled StrongBox?
is it just to delete all related files & folders, or is there some configuration in other files as well, like the ccbill stuff?

Do NOT delete any files. You will either break your site entirely or leave it
wide open where people don't even have to log in. Call us at 979-530-1300, please, or email [email protected]. Whatever problem you may be having, we can probably help you with so you can be a happy Strongbox user. If not, we can at least safely put your site back to the old fashioned grey box so although you'll have nop protection against hackers and password traders at least people will get the pop up log in box.
