I have a mainstream website with products and you can add items into a shopping cart and when you "checkout" it emails me with all the items you need a price quote on. I was wrote in coldfusion back in the day (homemade cart). There is also a search engine on the site where you can search for specific terms to the items.
ok..
So I'm waiting a all new website for everything but I need this functionality on the new site (the rfq requests and search) but I have no idea how to do it, I can't move the db and scripting of the cart to the new site because I'm either an idiot or it just wont work that way and it's been so long their might just be a better way to do it with a preexisting script or just writing a new one.
I also need the search to look though a db of items I can add anytime through a backdoor, and the simple ability to add new items to the site and plugin right into the rfq system. against maybe through a backdoor or something.
No newbies some things you've worked on in the past would be nice, if I already know you even better, I'm going to lunch, bbl
