Hippos don't eat meat silly. They are very dangerous and could kill a person (they kill many more people than lions every year in Africa), but they won't actually eat you.

Hippos have been seen eating meat. They occasionally steal wildebeast etc. from alligators and eat it. It's bizarre.
Hippo's also have weird homage when they find a dead hippo from their clan. Licking it, nuzzling it etc.. They're odd critters.

Yeah they are.
I just watched a whole thing on the Discovery Channel about them recently.
Humans can't get too close to them to study them because they brutally attack.

Actually hippos are like pigs in that they will occaisionally eat meat - including their own offspring.
