Well i have a few tube domains, so i might found out one day but personally i think its a fad that will eventually die off, mainly due to bandwidth cost and eventually something else will come along but it seems to me people go to tube sites because they don't want to buy anything.

Giving away exclusive movies for free is legal, too. So why don't you start shooting stuff and then just give it to people for free? Its legal.

Sorry, I didn't miss it. I just find it funny that people like drinkinghard think tube sites are the next great thing when from observations, it seems you have to push a lot more traffic to get the same kind of return. Choker says I'm wrong but who knows.

If surfers that visit tube sites never buy anything, why is it that so many sponsors are tripping over their own feet trying to get thier own tube site up and running?

I love the way all the so called "tube experts" that dont even have a tube site are saying how shitty the traffic is from a tube site. How can you offer a opinion about something you have no first hand expierience with?

Because they think its the easiest way to get traffic right now. This is all the adult industry ever does. See someone has success with something and copy the hell out of it until everyone is sick to death of it.

I never claimed to be an expert. Tube sites are vastly different than tgps or anything else. The tube site itself has to pay for the bandwidth unlike tgps, so your cost is going to be much more than the typical porn site. This means you have to sell more than the average or get more traffic than the average site or both.

Tube sites sell less per traffic , but they own more traffic than other sites so do the math yourself and figure out it's the same money at the end .
If 10 years ago i could make $10k/month from 5k daily unuiqes tgp , today i'll have to make the free site 500k to make the same cash . At the end its all matter of how much efforts and money i have to invest in both sites and the answer is - 10 years ago bandwidth costed much more , and it was as much as hard then to get 5k daily as 500k today and that's the bottom line .
