AVS-hybrid is the future -- this is why Epoch, CCBill, Epoch now obsolete.

    Greetings 3rd party expatriates! LOL

After reading all the talk -- it seems the choice for future biz will be AVS or something like an AVS hybrid/evolution (like AdultCentro.com)

    1. The shortcomings of AVS are easily corrected with additional coding -- so if you have plugins and content that should be kept private -- that will only take these AVS guys a few lines of code to solve. If you have other needs -- the coding solutions will follow shortly -- the money is waiting. AVS will address these issues shortly in order to get more new biz. I've already talked to AdultCentro.com -- they have this figured out -- they've got some amazing programmers. Essentially you can avoid these VISA regulations with programming/organizational semantics -- that's the beauty of the internet as a living breathing organism. Look at CCBill and IBill -- do you really think they will be able to adapt to this change quickly enough? Meanwhile AVS will sweep away all of their new biz while they scurry to hack an AVS or attept to partner into some kind of mutated AVS system. Jack be nimble Jack be quick hehe...

    2. The Netbilling option sounds great -- but like Labret said -- who wants to deal w/ a merchant account -- even if it's not rocket science -- it's still wasted time.

If you are already using IBill, CCBill, etc. -- makes sense that you will just stay -- that's the path of least resistance.

The future of the porn biz is in some AVS-hybrid -- I can guarantee this will be solved by some talented programmers -- to take the complexity, risk, and startup cost out of selling porn. I can assure you they are coding as we speak as fast as they can -- I wouldn't be suprised if some exiciting new systems are launched before the November 1 deadline. It will just be a new breed of 3rd party -- these VISA reglations have just rendered CCBill and IBill and Epoch obsolete technology.

Please try to prove me wrong. Prove to me how VISA can do shit to a feature-rich AVS system that can satisfy the needs of most existing -- soon-to-be-aggregating paysites. AVS has a head start in all of this, and dare I say seemingly better conversion ratios/member retention.

At the very least all of the little paysites that exist around the web are going to be dropping CC processors in favor of premium AVS service.

Not a loophole -- just a more logical way of doing biz. 3rd party billing has always adapted to demands of the market... Now the demands have just changed.

I agree some interesting new things will occur. They always do with change. I will probably not put the house on the market yet)) One rule that has not been talked about is that IPSP can not process for IPSP. So this puts new twists in each idea

the owners of cyberage have most of the hybrid infrastructure already with http://www.clearcard.com

don't think it was created with this situation in mind, but it'll be interesting to see what they come up with.

Is that a card that can bill your credit card? Because i was thinking about that myself. Like when somebody signs up for a site they'll also be signing up for a porn card type thing that will bill they're credit card so there's no need for prepaid or anything and rebills would be possible and partnerships.

Something like this: surfer goes to whateverpaysite.com upon signup also signs up for porno card which the surfer agrees can go through one of the third party billers to bill their credit card so instead of prepaid it would be more like a real-time paid card. When the surfer wants to cancel they would cancel through the porno card which would cancel they're membership for them at the third party biller.
