Ok mister know it all lawyer dude man... Let's go to the next level.. So if you can't put a loop into a porn video trailer, but a stripper at the strip club can dance to a whole song of it, and ok then you can tell why isnt the stripper paying royalties? It was used commercially no? |
Does a DJ have to pay royalties after a night of spinning requests?
Come on... lets go.. |
songs in the jukebox at the bar... the bartender owns and collects all the cash out the jukebox, should the copyright holder of the song not get a royalty? it was commercially sold...... Where's the lawsuits?
|
SOMENAMEtube.com runs contests for others to lipsync entire commercial songs in videos on their website which is a commercial enterprise...Tthe people who made it might not be commercial... but should not the song owner get royalties from the tubesite? Why is this tubesite not getting a visit from the LOCAL SHERIFF?

That is a catchy video that sure to "hold" surfers attention :thumbsup

Dude, get copyrighted music OUT of your content. Even 1 second doesn't count as fair use. That's a big myth. All it takes is one snitch to get a cease and desist sent your way. Know the law: http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/17/504.html
I buy royalty free music that I can use as many times as I want from a site called Shockwave-Sound.com. Love 'em. Here's a trailer I have with weird ass music in it from them: http://realdollsex.com/images/traile...ealdoll-v1.wmv |

Actually....The saying goes "I couldn't care less." Meaning one who COULD NOT care less, not one who "can care less." So, you're wrong about that too.....But yes, we are a bunch of jerkoffs. Perhaps you should leave so you don't have to deal with us. |
im gone.. cya

Put another way, the news station can not use 10 seconds of a copyrighted song as their nightly lead in. It was asked earlier, and you ducked it, but what exactly is your role with AmpLand? EDIT: Heat is on, so he is leaving, again... ADG |

Love her. |
That will sell like hotcakes

hilarious video trailer :P

That's very hot. I'm sure it sells extremely well.
They used Daft Punks song. If it ever came down to it they might end up having to pay a $500 licensing fee for web use. Nothing major. The label in question is very cool and the publishing company doesn't really give a shit as long as the songwriters don't. A full fledged lawsuit isn't likely. It's not like she's being bukkake'd by 7 black guys while wearing a ball gag. |
I like it :)

(Of course they've probably gone the fully legal way and cleared/paid for everything...) |
future of porn.. u kidding right?

Yeah, they do use a lot of samples. But, they have absolutely cleared and paid for everything they use. I'm not sure the song in question, "Around The World" has any samples though. No matter, licensing a song for web use is much easier than most people here imagine. Even if it's for a site like BrookeMarks.com. Anything more hardcore isn't as easy unless you have relationships with the artist/label. |
she is hot hot hot
