    Family member is a Mortgage Broker

    So, I've got a family member who's a Mortgage Broker and I think he can get me a good rate... however, I don't want that person to know all my financials. Thoughts?

      I think with the housing market and economy as it is now you should hold back.

      And use a non family member.

              I used my brother to refinance my house, he's a broker. My savings were basically him not charging a broker's fee.
