I just opened an account this week to pay for a design. The problem is that many people still only accept epass for payment.

I love epass... Enough said. The rates might be high, but then again, I find no better option. I have never ever had any problems with my account. Just dont deal with idiots, and you'll be fine

Lack of competition.
High cost for non US webmasters to cash checks.
Amount of US webmasters who think by using it they do not need to report the income.
Overall speed that some can access their money, though this would have to be those with not so many signups or they would take wires.
Used by some companies like content sellers and designers who can not get their own payment gateway.
