    MMA's Dream Fight - Fedor vs Randy!

    One day it will happen, just not in the next few months. WHen it does, it will shatter records!



    I can see some moron getting drunk and starting a fight with these two unassuming guys. And getting the living shit kicked out of them!

                                          Oh give me a break. “practice BJJ”.. I think most fighters “practice” BJJ by now to protect themselves from other BJJ fighters. The reason there are fewer Sambo fighters in MMA is because it has yet to gain popularity. Don’t forget that Russians weren’t allowed in shows like that until mid 90’s… BJJ has been “cool” for a while now, but with more fighters turning to its techniques I wouldn’t be surprised that in 10 years it will be just as popular as BJJ.

                                                          Randy Coture got subbed by BJJ Black Belt Enson Inoue at Vale Tudo Japan 1998 by arm bar while in Enson's guard.

                                                          From that day on, Randy has trained exstensively in submission, notably BJJ.

                                                          Randy's BJJ has become soo good since 10 years ago when he got subbed, he had a grappling match with JACARE, and tied him. JACARE is a legendary BJJ Black Belt.

                                                                  idiot, Olegs first fight was in 95 and thats what I was referring to when I said that Sambo first appeared on international scene in mid 90’s Besides him there was nobody.. Takhtarov immigrated to the USA and really wasn’t that much of a Russian at that point..

Normally that would be considered a no contest, not a loss. But since it was a tournament fight, somebody had to go through the next round so they granted his opponent the TKO win. Fedor later rematched that guy and pummeled him to death, just to make a point. If you had seen the fight you would know that the guy kind of scratched him and they had to stop it because of the rules (he was bleeding out of his forehead, obscuring the vision). Nobody considers that a loss and it is only counted in his record because of the odd circumstances. So, essentially he is still undefeated.

If it was bjj fighter he would find millions of excuses for’em. He knows which style dominates now days. He’s just jealous he picked the other one. But I can’t blame him, it was the cool thing to do.                                                                                                               Fedor had another fight where he was cut, and that was ruled a NO CONTEST, that cut being even worse than the one he got against TK.

But then again I love watching two serious BJJ guys go at it. Esp tournaments with no time limit. Or better yet I like a nice grappler, wrestler, ground and pounder vs a BJJ guy.                                                                                                                                               As for the argument, Camo just needs reality in his life. MMA training is striking (Muay Thai, Boxing), Wrestling (Greco, CACC, Freestyle), and Submission (BJJ). Those styles listed are the dominant ones trained by the majority of MMA fighters.

                                                                                                                                                  Submission wrestling, BJJ, Sambo and others kind of grapling arts all have something called an Armbar... guess what, it's sill a fucking arm bar no matter what you practice !

                                                                                                                                                  In St-Pierre's last fight he used a judo trip... Guess what ? He learned it from the canadian national wrestling team, not a judoka.

                                                                                                                                                  Arts are crossing over, and 'the best thing' dosen't existed. What is more suited for your style does.

                                                                                                                                                  If you look at credentials has an edge over Sambo, by a long stretch. Other then Fedor, Aleks and 2 other russian dudes, no one were succesfull in MMA from a sambo background.

                                                                                                                                                  MMA as a whole evolves so rapidly, that it's separated itself from specific matial arts and become the ultimate form of martial arts in itself.

                                                                                                                                                                  I attempted to use this logic on him before, grappling has become so intertwined, it's hard to say where came what. As an example before the mid 90's, leg locks were considered cheap and not trained in BJJ. Nowadays, whites and blues and up are now learning heel hooks. Something even in 2003, most ppl wouldn't teach. Sambo has enriched BJJ with it's leg locks, and Sambo has taken from BJJ it's positional hierachy and dominance which was lacking before what we now call "Submission Wrestling".

This whole shit about BJJ fighters is gay.. In MMA competition everyone studies the opponent. If two of you are TOO FUCKING stupid to understand, I’ll give you example from the game that I play.. I play right wing on my hockey team, always played in same position since I was 4 years old.. But I also can play center and defence… had to learn it just incase too many people are out with hangover on Sunday morning.. Was never good playing left wing because I’m left handed and its easier for me to shoot … DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORDS THAT COMING OUT OF MY MOUFFFF/????
