If you lease a car are you allowed to make changes to it? For example different wheels and springs to lower it?
When you lease a car - can you modify it at all??

the definition of lease is "temporary possession of.."

sure, you can do springs and shit just keep the original ones and swap it back later and sell the after market stuff and make back some $.
no reason to give it away to the dealership for freeComment
-
Just save the original parts. When you turn it in put the parts back on. Most leases dont see the end anyway. Well mine do. If I see any fees I just take a drive to TJ and send em down a cliff somewhere. Thats the best way to end a lease. They fuck me so I fuck them.Comment

Here's a thought. Seriously, it's so insane, nobody ever thinks of it: ASK YOUR LEASE COMPANY.
Some lease company will actually supply you the car with the mods.I live in your nightmares. I make you dream you're getting bumfucked by a razor blade only to wake up and find I gave your wife an enema and tube-fed you her shit.Comment

Why ask them? Dont you know? .. GFY is a place to ask every type of shit .. most of us are expert legal advisers, financial consultants, doctors, food experts, counselors, dating masters, sexual advisers ..
.. and now .. Leasing Agents
o yeah, i forgot .. some of us are adult webmasters too

yes you can, just dont mod the engine, the leasing companies scan the computer to make sure nothing was done. as far as wheels or springs, keep the oem and take them off when returning and sell them on ebay. will cost you next to nothing. wasnt a stupid question at all, not sure why fletch was attacking him.Comment

I do all the time, tons of mods, then I just trade the lease in to another dealer
The last time I did this was with an M3, traded it in on a Porsche.Comment

rims, tires, cold air induction etc.... never had a problem turning them back in..Comment

typically not. You have to keep the car original, or only makes changes performed by the dealership. Modifying a car changes it's value and negates most warranties, so any mods you do usually have to be done in a way that will be universally accepted as an improvement (ie radio upgrades), not affect the warranty, and be performed by the dealer.Comment

you have the accounting skills of a 4yr old. how exactly do you waste a pile of money on stupid cosmetic shit that screams "i'm an immature asshole that should be avoided if you have an IQ over 40 or your over 16yrs old" and then "sell it to make back some $$"?Comment
