Perfectly... I think I've done the circuit of all the mainstream aff programs for this too though, although I have to say the incentivized route I've never seen on the email lead gen's.

If you think there has been a drop off in adult sales I believe the ebook drop off has been much worse. So many ebook websites do such a piss poor job protecting their member's areas that I am seeing tons of sites now dedicated strictly to sharing ebooks, not to mention most warez forums now have ebook sections.

Several years ago I partnered with someone and wrote a fairly popular sports betting money management ebook and the sales were excellent, not to mention some fairly decent income from the affiliate links in the ebook and eBay sales. We used Clickbank for the affiliate program. I spoke to my old partner again recently and he said that the ebook market is in the shitter due to all of the sharing sites...

Incentive programs always find great ways to shave 80% of the submits. "oh that email exists already" is a good one. They search the entire db of ipod, xbox and ps3 dbs and say if the email is in ANY of them they shave it.

Fuckin gay, I stopped doing zip and email submits.

If you stick to the lesser known ones (but through aggregators) with fresh lists, you can still make quite a bit. I got a few zip submits still doing $1.50 and doing well on them.

It took about 10 emails to explain to my biggest mainstream affiliate that he does not need to send me a monthly invoice to get his share...

I make a bunch of money off free xbox/ipod/ps3, ebooks, and credit debt leads. If you are going the ebook route. Use PayDotCom or ClickBank and have others do the majority of the selling for you.

mainstream rocks. As someone has already mentioned, Its much easier getting affiliates through one of the established affiliate networks than trying to run your own affiliate program. fake email/info submits and carders are probably the biggest issue.

i did a clickbank "survey site" that was pretty good. Had about 20 webmasters doing the program, made about 1K a month but it dried up. I have since closed the site.
