Provided there's enough pressure, I'd assume it'd work fine.
When I was a kid, I thought I had gone deaf in one ear until the doc used a water pick to dislodge a plug in my ear... ever since then, I've used one of those kiddie "snot balls" (dunno what they're actually called) in the shower (fill up with water, and squirt) to clean out my ears regularly.

My friends Dad is a pharmacist, and he said products like this are no more effective than pouring a little hydrogen peroxide ear for 5-10 mins, then rinsing with water. This was like 7 years ago though
Just saw that the only ingredient is sea-water...don't see why this would be any better

But as the instructions say, see your ENT first then this would be more of a preventative solution. I seriously doubt it will do anything with packed in earwax if you have any build up at all. Seeing as I just had mine cleaned out this sounds great. Cautions: Impacted earwax should be removed by physician prior to using device. Solution should be stored at room temperature. Do not keep product in a cool place. If the solution is too cold, use of the product may cause dizziness. Keep away from children. |

Ear wax is there for a purpose to protect your ear. Its like taking the oil out of your engine.
Now granted there are times when an unhealthy amount of ear wax is in your ear, i think you are supposed to go to a doctor and have it removed. Its pretty painless and takes seconds and the doctor can actually see what he is doing. My doctor told me not to try to do it myself. but then again he wouldnt get paid if i didnt go have him do it now and then

Perhaps extensive use could be harmful (since H2O2 and humans usually dont mix), but I found webmd recommends it as well: http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/e...home-treatment

"Second, you don't use Q-tips in the ears. Q-tips do not fit very well and will gradually pack the wax back against your eardrum (just like loading a cannon by tamping down the powder). If you want to use them to clean the ear opening, that's OK, but don't dig around deep in the ear canal."
