Wow, he's a big spender good 'ol Georgie-boy... first blowing astronomical amounts of your money on warfare to keep up the moneyflow in some less ethical business,
and now he's gonna hand out cash to people...

Money which those of You that pay the most taxes ARE/WILL BE paying for - "it's gonna cost more to not be poor" (and those who already are poor will be even more fucked).

Think about it... exactly HOW big a hypocrites are the republicans in charge? Unreal!

so this basically means that people over 75k a year, like a lot of us here are going to be getting taxed heavier to give the nitwits that are terrible with money more money to go spend at walmart on toys and shit they don't need to survive in life.

awesome.

I'd rather they used the money to help pay off the national debit.

My home in San Diego which i call a 4 bedroom shed as its just wood and stucco cost me £5,000.00 ( $10,000.00 ) a year property tax. Then there's State and Federal tax, Business tax ( $800 minimum even if you dont make a profit ) Business and home improvement tax ( an example would be if you re modeled you home and spent $500,000.00 the tax would be 2% extra every year therafter. I could go on and on but the UK looks mighty appealing right now what with the £ to $ exchange rates....:2 cents:

I have to admit that I wasn't aware anywhere in the US was that pricey compared to the UK - I always had plans of exploiting the exchange rate later on in life, going to the US and living like a king in the US from a pauper's amount in the UK.

The "home improvement tax" seems stupid - surely the government would prefer people to bring their shit-tips up to scratch, so that said shit-tips increase in value, thus encouraging house purchases in formerly shitty areas, and overall boosting the economy; taxing people who want to improve their homes seems to be equivalent to knocking people in education on the head with a lump hammer. :2 cents:

In fact, it would be used to help preventing the debt from increasing of that amount ...

Repaying will be the job of the next government, probably the democrats. So they will be blamed for increased taxes and cuts in the military ..... while this bozo will be remembered for this fat check ....:disgust

Yeah that will save the US economy :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Damian_Maxcash 01-20-2008 09:08 AM

So they are just going to hand over the cash to everyone in the country who earns under $75K?

Thats messed up....

Surely opening up the health service would be money better spent - Talk about short sighted....

Worldnet 01-20-2008 09:13 AM

Even people who didn't earn it will get it. You pay for there checks!:thumbsup

The next president is at a high risk of being booted after one term. The average American isn't going to understand that it is Bush's old shit that is hitting the fan.
