AVN I thought you did a great job with what you had to work with. As for the show room lay out (ok I'm just being honest now) It pretty much was a turn off. You could hardly see anything and when you went to talk to somebody you couldn't hear them, and their booths were full most of the time for scheduled app. So you can't get in to talk to someone if you want to. Over all it was a great show. in my opinion the The "Rain" was the down fall. If I ever went there for vaca I would not stay at the PALMS:2 cents:

honestly, i really thought the show was going to suck. I heard the details and thought, I just see this going bad. There are some shows that I really hate, but from the first party I was nothing but impressed. The first gfy party that seemed like a party. The strange "booth" set up was like xbiz vegas done right, except indoors and without the 124 degree heat. The suite parties, which I thought would be cheesy, were great. The hotel, which I had only been on the one side, was awesome, if your room was in the fantasy tower. (all bathrooms having at least one jacuzzi tub. room service was 4 times as fast as any hotel we do in vegas. the bell guy got there in 2 minutes coming and going. There was a lot more too. I for one was very happy, I think I did a lot of business (you never really know until a week or 3 goes by) It was easy to get to people and the restaurants were more than serviceable. Great stuff guys. I would love the badge price to be lower. its half to go to aee, why so much for internext?

Chris my consultation fee is $10k :winkwink:

Good idea and I like D$ suggeston about splitting the upgrade fee to help the party sponsors.

I do think this was the best Internext show in years and you did a fantastic job putting it all together. I can suggest some other bands next time besides Everclear who was OK but not exciting to watch. Besides that.... my hat goes off to you and the AVN crew!

Good idea. It would be cool if the party organizers got the upgraded dollars to recoup their costs a little.

$150 per badge, $300 per badge with parties. The $150 gets split up between the parties as extra incentive for the party organizers. I guess it can be a model that can be worked on. I might even bring the Players Ball back to Internext if I got something back in return. A party rebate.

Overall though Chris, all kiddin' aside, you guys did a great job of re-inventing the show. It just has a new identity, which is also good. The Everclear party was cool too, thanks for making that happen.

Much respect D - getting up on that stage aint as easy as you make it look.

The show was different-
I liked the new format-
It was dark and dreary in the club for a tradeshow during the day and I agree the music selection sucked.

I DID love the VIP booths and the parties were great.
I have to say this cause I like you guys and want this event to be even better for you next year-

There is a reason why no one is raving about the farewell party-
Everclear sucked.

I have seen them plenty of times before this event and they were always good- they just sounded muddy on the PA that was rented and their performance sucked.

I loved the booths for the show idea- BUT the banners covering the glass obstructed the view of the stage where I was sitting ( the Jettis Booth and Red Light's booth)

If you guys would have pulled down the banners on the glass it would have made for better sight lines while people were sipping their booze and sitting on the great couches provided. It was the last night and the banners at that point were vestigial

Just my two cents-

Other than that- Great quality of webmasters in attendance and a lot of old schoolers that only an AVN event can bring out

:thumbsup

KB thanks for your input and praise! You noticed the webmasters too...

Ive spoken to several clients that said that they did more business at this show, than any show in our history (or our industries history). One said he did close to 1 million in traffic deals.

This was an evolution, in any evolution you'll have trips and falls - they key is to build and learn from those and improve.

I thought the band rocked - my mistake was putting them on the last night. Next year well have a major event 1st or second night - and maybe increase the show floor to a full 3 days.

See you on Showtime and in two weeks at the awards.
