Actually... just to bring you up to speed... a lot of programs tested the idea of DRM software when it first came into the adult space.

The problem did not come from a decrease in sales. It came in a decrease of retention which is obviously a huge problem.

A lot of us understood early on how important DRM could be for the future of our biz but not enough time was spent educating surfers on how to move through the DRM'd products.

It was easier to remove the DRM (which was a lot of work) then to get the surfers on board with it.

Switch the words swap meet to pawnshop and watch how the law suddenly changes. Tube sites are not swap meets. Tube sites hide behind a small loophole that if they can say "it is to hard for us to patrol what users upload" then you are not legally responsible for the time being of having the content up there on the first warning.

I know people think this industry is just about keyboard warriors and threats. Personally I can give a rats ass about those thoughts. Laws will change, hope you are ready to evolve or die just as well. Our tube was one of the only ones that gave Webmasters the chance to send our traffics to their sponsors. So yeah I'm bitter.

Your content is out there, stolen by your customers. What did you think was oging to happen?

Question is what will you do, sit back and cry or take action. If you take action against me, then have fun with that. But if you civilly call me and say, no more of my content on your site, then its done. End of story. I have almost never gotten a call from most of your complaining about your content. I wouldn't blame it on the people (sponsor) whose content was stolen. If you're going to run a Tube site you need to have some risk assessment I would guess, and this should at the very minimum include regularly policing your site against content from litigious companies.
