I used to advertise pretty heavily on google 2 years ago with keywords pertaining to interracial niche. In 2006 i was paying between 5 and 10 cents a click, until one day I logged into my admin and saw that my ads would no longer be displayed unless I raise the bids to $5.00 a click. Of course I could not advertise with them anymore at that rate.
Recently I type in a few keywords in google that I use and see about 15 interracial sites using adwords! Cool I think to myself time to go back to google, maybe they have lowered their bids. To my shock and horror they are now telling me that all 100 of my interracial related keywords must be set to 10.00 a click????? WHAT THE HELL GIVES??
Anyone else been shut out of the traffic loop with google, and forced to sit on the side feeling helpless and impotent while you watch other competing sites advertise, when you know for absolute fact that your competitors are not paying 10.00 a click for these words?
Would feel better if I was not the only one. Hate to think of it as some form of discrimination...
