$1500 for four, tasting menu with wine pairings at the French Laundry. The best meal I've ever had, definitely worth it.

600$ for 2 at a steakhouse here in Montreal
included an amazing bottle of red

Next probably comes 180$ per person at a tasters menu including wine with every course

both were worth it

I've paid around $400 for 2, in a couple different places down here in Brazil already.

Both times were definitely worth it.

:2 cents:

I can't remember the most, but I do remember the best. There's this place called Tyler & Downings, in the little town of Anamosa Iowa. It has by far the best steak I have ever had. Aged beef, and the guy knows what he's doing. By far the best food I have ever had.

Probably was a few hundred bucks for 2 people at the Top of the World restaurant in Vegas. Definitely worth it though :thumbsup

$450 at Stella in New Orleans for me and my g/f for your 7 year aniversary, well worth ever single penny i paid for it. It was the best meal i have ever had and cant wait to go back there when im back in New Orleans next month.

Some of the most creative, flavorful foods you could ever ask for, if your ever in the Big Easy check it out you wont be dissapointed

Steak house 400 dollars, worth every penny.

Lots of big spenders..I wouldn't waste my money on something that I'm going to crap out 12 hours later :)
The most was like 250 on a few dates..I didn't get any poozle either..so it wasn't worth it

About $600,- for 2. It was our anniversary and a friend of mine worked in the High end restaurant. It has 2 Michelin stars.

We had 6 courses, appetizers and so on. every course accompanied by an especially selected whine.

We spent 6 hours there and since my friend is the host we drank twice as much as the other guests.

I had a blast. I tasted things I didn't even know existed and the food / whine combos were top notch.

Oh and the misses was pleased too, and a bit tipsy meaning I got some guaranteed action back home. Perfect.

Dude, first of all wine is not spelled with an "h". And second, how can you not get action on the night of your anniversary?

Which place as not many have Michelin stars let alone 2. I know of one place in France were you can expect no less than 150 euros per person and that does not include any wines. Yet I hear from some of my culinary friends that it is worth every single penny. Though I worry about such places as I am still learning wines and have not fully developed a real taste for wines and although I would love a good teacher most wine people are fucking snobs and have zero patience to help someone really learn to like wine.

It's called Apicius.
Couldn't fins any English stuff though.

most expensive meal i ever had was the zillion dollar frittata
i did ask for the cavier to be put on the side because i have never been a fan

but the omlette was amazing i have made it for my self a couple times since i found the reciepe online (san the cavier)

as for was it worth it

i don't think i would ever order the omlette again, the cavier would have gone to waste if it had not been for the rest of the table taking a share with their own breakfast. but the omlette part was amazing.
