The guy was at the top of his game with the old Battlestar Galactica and then the A Team, but through the 90's on up he's virtually off the radar.

Dirk was on Celeb Big Brother UK last year (a very high profile series that ended up causing international incident..dumbly). He came across as a really nice guy. On the first night in the house there was a kid from a 'punk' band that was particularly drunk going into the house. The kid goes up to him and goes 'Dirk Fucking Bennedict' and without missing a beat Dirk responded with 'I don't usually use my middle name'.

Like justb said earlier, winding up on a reality show after being in the limelight in the past is a sure sign of your career being in death throws and people coughing *brokeass* cough cough.

But yeah he's a cool guy, I liked the way he portrayed his gallactica character.

Spader's movies were more 'art' than b-list and they have been very good movies like Crash (the first one not the limp one that one the Oscar), Sex Lies and Videotapes and Secretary. He did more mainstream stuff like Stargate too but really he has done a lot of top quality indie/art stuff. I was actually surprised to see him show up on TV (and suddenly looking..dunno..less hot?) because he was on my 'one day will win an Oscar' list. Next to Johnny Depp he as doing some of the most interesting films around for the last few decades.

Yeah, I know a lot of time has passed, but it seems like it must be the material that makes him less sexy now than he was in all those edgy flicks. Two Days in the Valley was pretty recent and he was scary hot in that.

I am not even into BDSM but he was super hot and creepy at the same time in Secretary too. Even as the super snob in Pretty In Pink he still managed to make creep work for him.

I used to have a thing for Kirk Cameron when I was a pre-teen. I never see him in the UK but from what I hear he is a religious freak back in the States.
