He sounded good in that clip, but most conservatives all across the country were vomiting. That is not the type of thing they want to hear, nor could they understand anyway.
You'll notice that Ron Paul is the only Republican in these debates that doesn't dumb things down. That was an asset for him before, but now it may be a problem. He is preaching to a Republican base that typically lives out in rural areas and is under-educated. His words simply fly right over their heads. That's not to say all Republicans are stupid, but their core base, the people they pander to most to get elected, are just that... stupid, stupid, stupid. They will never agree with the message of Ron Paul. |
