I've been playing the first COD on a regular xbox and I was given an Elite for xmas. What a HUGE difference

Now I need a better TV and I have to figure out the best way to get on xbox live. My internet connection is upstairs and my home theater is downstairs

I use wireless with no trouble at all. My xbox sits on the other end of the house with several walls between my xbox and my router.

I thought MOH Airborne was the game of the year when it came out. Then COD 4 came out, that is def game of the year.

Guess I will have to replay the last level, I skipped out of the credits when it was over.

Would only depend on if there are any no signal spots in your house. I have no issue with the XBox Wireless unit you can buy or the Buffalo Wireless unit in the bedroom.

Until this past few weeks, XBL has been rock solid. Even during the service outages from all the new Christmas systems and new members logging in. They are making up for it buy letting everyone download one title from XBL Arcade.

I'm playing MOH Airborne now and it's awesome

I only play a few hours a week late at night and so far I've only finished COD2 on the regular xbox

Usually I just put in one of the driving games and motor around for awhile.

I got my sister (54) and brother (60) playing and they play all the time. They've got 360s and have been systematically demolishing every game to the point where they have to wait for a new release

They gave me an Elite for xmas and I got all their hand me down games to get started with. They're also sending me COD4 Battlefield2 and Pong to go with the others.

None of us have played on xbox live so I'm trying to instigate that so they can get much more out of a game than just play it through and be done.

There are quite a few cheaters... there is a hack out that is punkbuster proof... which sucks. I was getting alot of lag with wireless... so I bought one of those electrical outlet networking kits and now it's fine.

Yes. It came free, bundled with the Elite. I just saw it in the store retail at $83.95 so it was a pretty nice bonus.

What console you playing it on? I'm on PS3, been playing Multiplayer tonight - got my status WAAAAY up by finishing 3rd in 3 different games. Its great playing against people online.

That was one of my fav levels as well. Pretty cool how you snipe the Pilot from distance right in the head to bring the Chopper down.

Well I went to look at the stuff I would need to go wireless and decided to get a 50' ethernet cable and run it downstairs to the 360 instead

Now I'm connected but I'm having trouble signing in. First I had to come up with a gamer tag which is harder than getting a .com Then half way through the process it says I need a MSN or Windows Live account or something so I back out to see what that's all about and then try again. This time it says the tag I created the first time is already being used

I'm going to have a few drinks and try again later

Live has been having major issues since christmas due to what we affectionately call "Christmas Noobs". They got a lot more load than they were expecting and they're scrambling to upgrade lol. The entire season ladder on Gamebattles is held up for that shit, it's annoying. Private matches work more often than not.
