I've been checking into it. I have a Mac, PC and a printer I'd have to network upstairs and then the 360 is downstairs. I've been getting conflicting reports on game lag when using wireless so I'm still not sure.
I'd hate to buy all that stuff just to play xbox live and find out I've got a lousy connection.Comment

Would only depend on if there are any no signal spots in your house. I have no issue with the XBox Wireless unit you can buy or the Buffalo Wireless unit in the bedroom.
Until this past few weeks, XBL has been rock solid. Even during the service outages from all the new Christmas systems and new members logging in. They are making up for it buy letting everyone download one title from XBL Arcade.Comment

I'm playing MOH Airborne now and it's awesome
I only play a few hours a week late at night and so far I've only finished COD2 on the regular xbox
Usually I just put in one of the driving games and motor around for awhile.
I got my sister (54) and brother (60) playing and they play all the time. They've got 360s and have been systematically demolishing every game to the point where they have to wait for a new release
They gave me an Elite for xmas and I got all their hand me down games to get started with. They're also sending me COD4 Battlefield2 and Pong to go with the others.
None of us have played on xbox live so I'm trying to instigate that so they can get much more out of a game than just play it through and be done.

There are quite a few cheaters... there is a hack out that is punkbuster proof... which sucks. I was getting alot of lag with wireless... so I bought one of those electrical outlet networking kits and now it's fine.Comment

Now I'm connected but I'm having trouble signing in. First I had to come up with a gamer tag which is harder than getting a .com Then half way through the process it says I need a MSN or Windows Live account or something so I back out to see what that's all about and then try again. This time it says the tag I created the first time is already being used
