I am officially changing my support to hucklebee. Not only does he have chuck norris on his side, but also kungfoo jesus, slaying sinners at every turn, and the fox news network. Thumping the good book getting the faithful out to the caucus, he is electable and that's all that matters to me... principles be damned. I am almost tempted to get pleaseurepays off the ignore list so we can high five each other on our great victory. I see malicious chimed in with words of wisdom too.
Vote huckleberry and go to heaven 2008! |

I am disappointed that Thompson beat Paul. I thought that he was out. I am also surprised that McCain did as well as he did. But Paul did get double digits so the night is not lost and makes New Hampshire important.

Shouldn't Ron Paul get his strongest support from the mid-western states.. yet he only got fifth place and 10 percent of the vote in Iowa? That's fucking hilarious.

Only Ron Paul supporters could spin a fifth place finish into a win for their guy.
Fred Thompson has barely shown evidence of having a pulse and he came in 3rd. As for Giuliani, he didn't campaign in Iowa. John McCain is opposed to ethanol subsidies and he's getting more votes from the world's capital of corn than Paul. It's great that you love the guy and support him, but to try and spin these fantasies where he's going to win is just tomfoolery. |

From the Ron Paul forums ...
"When we see 10% we are upset and a bit angry. However if a normal person not following Ron Paul sees 10% he is surprised that the candidate that was called Kooky and a nut actually got a substantial amount of the vote, enough to be considered a serious contender." |

Paul got over 10% almost 11%. Double digits. I went to the caucuses and I can tell you that the Iowa caucuses are a clusterfuck.
1000's YES I said 1000's of people showed up and ended up going home without a vote. Don't put too much weight on Iowa caucuses. |
