Ron Paul has my vote.

same here. The reason he gets blasted for being a "kook" or a "crank" is because he freely says what he believes. Not at all like the rest of the slick, polished, packaged, "viable" candidates the media loves so much. I don't agree with everything Ron Paul says or believes in but he's definitely heads and shoulders above the rest of the pack.

Just my :2 cents::2 cents:

Ron Paul FTW!

Now, you may also want smaller government too. But if you vote for ANY of the other candidates, by proxy, you support larger government. It's no big deal. Many people believe government is too small.

ok... you seem to think i care more about Ron Paul, the next president or the USA in general than i do. ALL i have been doing in my conversations is poking fun at his supporters.... so i'm not going to waste anymore time with this ignorant crap.

the statement above kinda highlights my point again, where anyone can see that you are completely out of touch with reality.

"if you vote for ANY of the other candidates, by proxy, you support larger government"

i seriously doubt you will ever understand the complete and total lapse in reasoning and logic that could lead you to make a statement like that, so i fear explaining it is going to be nothing more than wasted pixels.

you don't support a larger government by supporting any other candidate than Ron Paul anymore than you support murdering kittens because one candidate promises kittens will never die under his presidency. like all voters that aren't avid Ron Paul supporters, I can be concerned about kittens and be concerned about 100 other things at the same time you know?

but hey! you guys are on a roll.... 15 yr old kids are "marching" on World of Warcraft right now for Ron Paul... and it makes perfect sense. what better way to make a statement about changing current realities and real world problems, than by showing unity and support in a fake one.

as i have said many times, the biggest problem with Ron Paul, what he stands for and his message, are his supporters.

Pleasurepays 01-01-2008 10:22 PM

as i recalled a quote from F Scott Fitzgerald a few minutes ago, i started to sympathize with Ron Paul supporters and their simplistic views on things....

"The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two diametrically opposed ideas in the mind at the same time."

Let me finish that quote for you ...and still retain the ability to function.

I think RP supporters are functioning quite well, to the tune of $20million raised.

I am not even going to get into your kitten analogy which is just plain ludicrous. It's not the same and you know it. You can chose to bury your head in the sand for all the silly reasons you can come up with. I chose to do something about with my vote and my money(function).

it's funny how ron paul plays on fear as well

i wonder if he actually thinks about that

Of course he thinks about it, because he actually believes in them and wants to do something about it.

(like the fear of losing our privacy or the right to own firearms)

Glad to here you are checking him out and learning what he is all about. :thumbsup

VOTE: RON PAUL!

its the exact same thing.

hitler made the trains run on time

voting against hitler doesn't mean you support the trains not running on time.

only a total retard could see such a complex decision in such a simplistic way.

what you simply refuse to understand is that THIS is the reasoning and behavior that people are making fun of when it comes to Ron Paul supporters.

its not HIS message that is the problem. its not the idea of "strict constitutionalism" thats the problem.

the problem is the fact that its all being turned into a circus side-show by lunatics.

so what? thats like saying any cult leader is doing well because he has support. Sun Myung Moon should have been President... his followers gave him billions... or how about Jim Jones... the support and the devotion of his followers would have made him a great President.... or Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh... so what if he had 90 Roll's Royce's at the expense of his followers... what matters is that he was able to get a bunch of lunatics to give everything to him. Maybe we should bring him back to be President???

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

you guys are acting like cult followers... "our leader can do no wrong" and "there is only one TRUE choice"

its getting freaky and scary.

You're the scary one. Your grasping at outlandish analogies makes you look like a kook. I think I am done with this discussion because I can see your hate runs deep and Ron Paul is disturbing for you. Vote for Obama Hilary Hukabee McCain. I dont care. Try to stay out of Ron Paul threads because I would hate for you to have a breakdown.

same old thing... make up some stuff, deflect, redirect and toss in a little "i know you are but what am i"

too bad you guys are blowing it for him. it would be nice if more people could get past all the insanity of his flaky supporters to hear his message.

You're a fucking idiot with absolutely nothing of substance to say. It's a waste of time reading your posts and replying to you. You obviously are a disturbed individual. Welcome to my ignore list.

He does not believe in evolution.

Great reason to write Ron Paul off. Since Tom Cruise doesn't like Ron Paul then he must be terrible and his supporters are nut cases.

I think it is pretty evident that you guys have become fixated by Ron Paul and his candidacy. You have become the tin foiled hat wearing UFO Spotting Club that you are trying to make Paul supporters out to be.

In all of yours and PP's rhetoric and negative postings you have yet to come up with any issue you disagree with or any reason why is is not fit to become president. NONE. You just keep repeating his supporters are crazy. I like the parody website about Paul in your sig and for that reason I thought you were a bit entertaining. But from your recent posts it seems you have shot your load and can only come with idiotic BS. So I welcome you to my ignore list also. I would rather drive a stake up my ass than to treat you and pleasure like you were interested in real discussion.

He believes in that we were created by a GOD. He said the TIMELINE and MECHANICS were interesting debate but not pertinent to the political process.

The attempt to make him out to be a wacko is really funny. I imagine after his showing in New Hampshire you guys will be shitting bricks.

you dont want to exchange ideas... you have an agenda you are pushing and a candidate that has no intention of running for president and slinging your share of insults while playing the martyr.

and people have been pointing things out and making arguments point for point... but from your side, all you have to respond with is mindless rhetoric like "oh... so you agree wtih the war in Iraq" and other insane, unrelated talking points, once the problems with your views are exposed.

your message is getting lost because you guys are incapable of making solid, well reasoned points that are rooted in reality and that the voting public can actually get behind.

right on brother.

woot! woot!
