It's hard to compare him to other great drivers of different times. So much has changed.
I will say though, Senna, Fangio, and Schumacher, are the greatest F1 drivers of all time.
Fangio, classic. Nothing more needs to be said.
Schumacher, precision, and excellence.
Senna, if F1 ever had a heart, it was him. Undoubtedly one of the most passionate drivers to have lived.
I, like most people, never saw Fangio. Fangio dominated his era, but the competition probably was not as big as it has been in the past 20 years.
Schumacher to me is the best. Out of his entire career, he's had the best car for what, 3 seasons? 2 with ferrari and one with benetton and even that one is debatable because Damon Hill's Williams was top notch back then. In my opinion, when Schumi won the championship with Benetton, he did it with his driving skill. He beat out Damon and psyched him out in many races.
Senna, well, he was crazy. A fantastic driver, although I didn't really like him when he raced. I didn't like when he took out Prost to win the championship since they were teammates!
Prost is another great driver.
And since I'm from Montreal, can you guys think of a more spectacular driver than Gilles Villeneuve? Hehehe
