Everyone that knows John knows that he's a good guy. Instead of bitching and moaning, how about giving the guy some support? How about a thread offering up some help and or solutions? We're supposed to be professionals here, and one of our FRIENDS had a security issue that may have hurt his business. You drank his free beer and eaten his free Pizza at the Qwebec Shows, and drank his free water at Internext. You've shaken the man's hand and he's made you lots of money. Anyone who has met him KNOWS he's not a bad guy.
I have had a hard time knowing what really happened here. I have tried to follow multiple threads on GFY about this situation but can't quite grasp what has happened. "Minus1bit", you are very mad obviously, but I can't find the thread that describes WHY you are so mad. If you are out money or lost data or whatever I agree with you that this is a terrible thing, and perhaps you are entitled to recover some losses. I am just confused as to how it all happened, and how it turned so ugly so fast.

I don't think anyone will stop using paysites because of this either. Unfortunately security issues is a risk of doing business online. And besides, I read somewhere that your chances of getting your card info ripped off are much higher in the "real world" from attendants at gas stations, waiters in restaurants, etc.

Very true.. I dropped my card out of my pocket at 7-11 and a clerk decided to use the card.. Did about 20 cash advances and went out to Frys to buy some computer shit.. They called me the second time when he tried using the card at Frys to buy a TV or something for $1000 and I informed them of what possibly happened..
